Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic fluency in oral and written English.
• Must have computer experience and be comfortable with navigation with technology.
• Pass qualifying criminal background checks including motor vehicle driving records.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving independence.
• Provide person-centered services to all individuals supported and adjust interactions accordingly.
• Monitor and ensure safety, health, and daily living activities for individuals served.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in handling sensitive information.
