Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team in a part-time role. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily living activities, and support individuals with their goals in a welcoming environment.

Paid training is provided, with opportunities to enhance skills in caregiving, mentoring, and community integration while you work 20 hours per week on a first shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily hygiene and personal care.
• Encourage, mentor and coach individuals to achieve goals.
• Teach daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Follow individual support plans and engage in social/communication activities.
• Spend time in various settings helping individuals build independence.
