Kindly Direct Care is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Union County, NJ. The role includes supporting a 21-year-old nonverbal individual in home and community settings, with a dog in the home. Driving is required, and the schedule is Tue 7:30am–2:00pm and Fri 2:00pm–9:00pm, with some flexibility.

Pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour. The position emphasizes consistency, reliability, and safety, with onboarding, background checks, and training

Qualifications

• Able to commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation.
• Experience in direct support is preferred.
• Completion of onboarding, background checks and training is required.

Responsabilités

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Provide one-to-one assistance for routines and activities.
• Encourage independence and social engagement.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate with the Kindly team.
