Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Cumberland County is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them participate in community activities and achieve personal goals.

You will assist with personal care, transport clients to appointments and outings, and offer mentorship and companionship, with weekly pay and flexible day shifts close to home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible
