Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Part-time Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build confidence, gain independence, and reach meaningful goals.

You’ll assist with daily living, transportation, community activities, and personal care, in a compassionate, client-centered team. This role offers weekly pay, flexible shifts, and growth opportunities within BAYADA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.
