Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and drug screen.
• Clear TB screening; CPR/First Aid and medication administration trainings are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living in a residential setting.
• Administer medications as directed and ensure safety of residents.
• Prepare meals and assist with personal hygiene.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments.
• Assist in implementing individualized behavioral plans and teaching new skills.
• Encourage community involvement and accompany residents on outings; document observations and concerns.
