Job summary

Bristol Adult Resource Center, Inc. (BARC) is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Residential Group Home Program in Somerset, MA.

The role includes 30 hours weekly of afternoon/evening shifts. Responsibilities include supporting individuals with goals, providing personal care, transporting to activities, administering medications per guidelines, and documenting daily activities while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least age 18.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and developing independence.
• Transport clients to programs and activities.
• Administer medications per guidelines and document accurately.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment protecting rights and dignity.
• Record daily activities electronically, ensuring confidentiality.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
