Job summary

Partnership Resources, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in community settings across the Twin Cities/West Metro area. The Float DSP role substitutes for staff off for the day, with weekday daytime hours and no nights or weekends.

Shifts average 7 hours, totaling 30-35 hours per week. A reliable personal vehicle is required to travel between sites, and multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Reliable personal vehicle required to travel between sites.
• Must be able to pass a background check with the MN DHS.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support people who have disabilities in community settings, helping them succeed on the job.
• Provide job coaching focusing on problem solving, decision making, on‑the‑job safety and meeting expectations.
• Assist individuals to develop skills, achieve goals and advocate for themselves.
• Occasional support at day programs, assisting with recreation and leisure activities.
