Job summary

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Camillus, NY 13031 for a part-time, per diem role. You will support a 47-year-old female client with social skills, budgeting, and community activities, using public transportation and Call-A-Bus as needed.

Ideal candidates are engaging, reliable, and capable of building meaningful relationships. Requires a valid driver’s license and flexibility with schedules; prior experience with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrated effective communication and organization.
• Flexible with assignments and schedule.
• Reliable transportation to job site at scheduled time.
• Experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must have access to multiple apps for community activities and follow Indera’s technology policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client in developing social skills.

• Support participation via Call-A-Bus and other public transport.
