No prior experience is required because comprehensive training is provided, including CPR, First Aid, and medication administration. This position offers flexible schedules, paid training, and benefits when applicable, plus opportunities for growth in the IDD field.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle for transporting individuals served.
• Valid (Ohio) driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Able to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – fostering independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of daily living.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.
