Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is hiring part-time Servers to interact with residents/guests in Independent Living. The Server will provide friendly, efficient service, be attentive to residents' needs, and help make them feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed.

Responsibilities include taking orders, setting and bussing tables, ensuring sanitation and safety protocols, greeting guests, and participating in training programs to uphold quality service for our community.

Qualifications

• Excellent reading, writing and speaking communication.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Wait on assigned tables and take orders.
• Set up and bus tables; maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Answer diners' questions about menu items and specials.
• Greet residents and guests warmly.
• Adhere to sanitation, food handling and safety protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Attend in-service training programs.
• Prepare routine dining room setup for next day or special events.
• Maintain high quality of service throughout shifts.
• Communicate effectively in reading, writing and speaking.
