MorningStar Senior Living in West San Jose is seeking a Part-Time Dining Room Server for a Senior Living Community. The role involves providing high-quality meal service, accurate order taking, and maintaining a gracious environment for residents.

Responsibilities include presenting meals, relaying orders to the kitchen, and delivering exceptional customer service while learning residents' dietary needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• Provide service of high-quality meals and facilitation of a gracious environment.
• Accurate communication and order taking; properly relaying meal orders to back of the house staff.
• Offer exceptional customer service in all interactions with residents.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary environment at all times.
• Oversight of bistro areas – food presentation, cleanliness, stock, beverages, and related tasks.
• Learn residents' names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
• Attend trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
