Job summary

IVY PARK AT CLAREMONT is seeking a part-time server for our senior living community in Claremont. The role involves serving meals in a friendly, courteous manner and supporting dining operations alongside the kitchen team.

Ideal candidates are 16+ with a work permit, have a HS diploma or equivalent, and are eager to work with elderly residents. Training is provided, and benefits include meal privileges and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination/testing requirements to protect residents per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Take residents' and guests' food and beverage orders and enter into POS.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Adhere to proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
