Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server at Oakmont of Fresno to deliver friendly, courteous dining service and assist with dining area operations. Training is provided; the role emphasizes resident-centered care and teamwork in a senior living setting.

The position requires genuine care for the elderly, strong communication, and reliable attendance, with benefits and a supportive work culture across California communities.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• May require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter into POS.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Maintain proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
