Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring a Part-Time Server in Lake Zurich, IL. You will help create an incredible dining experience, build relationships with residents, and deliver the service guests expect in their favorite restaurant.

Responsibilities include guiding residents to tables, presenting menus, recommending dishes and drinks, and handling orders through a modern POS system. You’ll also perform opening/closing duties as required.

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.
• If under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable).
• Server must hold or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Card as required by regulations.
• Strong customer service presentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection.
• Communicate orders using the state-of-the-art point of sale system.
• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community.
