Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Server in Hillsboro, OR. This part-time role offers 16–20 hours per week with a focus on delivering high-quality meals and a gracious resident experience.

Responsibilities include accurate order taking, communicating with back-of-house staff, and maintaining cleanliness and a safe dining environment. Prior dietary or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist with special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation.
• Know the daily specials and how they are prepared.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide service of high-quality meals and a gracious environment.
• Relay meal orders accurately to back of house staff.
• Offer exceptional customer service to residents.
• Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and clean after meals.
• Attend trainings, orientation and mandatory meetings.
