Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Houston is seeking a part-time Dining Room Server to provide welcoming, high-quality table service during meals and events. You will collaborate with our Dining Room Coordinator and fellow servers to ensure accurate orders, proper presentation, and a superb dining experience for residents.

The ideal candidate is reliable, empathetic, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to exemplary hospitality while supporting seniors as they thrive each day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate with team members.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on hospitality oriented position.
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal.
