Job summary

Aravilla Sarasota is seeking a Part-Time Dining Room Attendant to deliver warm, attentive service to residents in our assisted living community in Sarasota, FL.

You will greet guests, present menus, take and deliver orders, maintain a clean dining environment, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server in an Assisted Living environment preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them promptly.
• Monitor table settings and cleanliness, ensuring a pleasant dining environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for service.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace.
