Job summary

Avella of Roseville is seeking a part-time Server to provide friendly, courteous dining service for residents, families and visitors. You will take orders, input them into the POS, deliver meals, and assist with beverages, bar stocking, and setup.

The role requires teamwork, safety awareness and strong English communication in a caring senior living environment. Responsibilities include serving with dignity, maintaining clean dining areas, assisting with inventory, and supporting the Executive

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six (6) months experience in food and beverage environment preferred.
Able to safely operate standard cooking equipment and utensils.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Effective communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

Serve meals to residents, family members and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
Take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system accurately.
Open, serve wine and beer where appropriate and stock bar supplies.
Set up dining room tables, ensure proper service etiquette and carry trays safely.
Deliver meals to resident rooms and assist with to‑go orders when needed.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and assist with inventory and dishwashing.
Participate in daily stand‑up meetings and follow safety procedures.
