Job summary

DRTC is seeking dependable Food Service Workers to support dining operations at Vanwey Dining Hall on Tinker Air Force Base. This position handles food preparation, customer service, sanitation, dishwashing, ware washing, and maintaining contract standards and food safety requirements.

The role may rotate between food service duties and ware washing to ensure efficient daily operations. This part-time, on-site role offers training and the opportunity to contribute to a service-oriented dining

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Real ID Compliant Driver License is required.
• Food service experience or completion of a certified food training program preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Professional demeanor and positive work ethic.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required facility access credentials.
• Ability to pass extensive agency and client background checks.
• Must meet badge requirements for all assigned buildings.
• Must complete DRTC/Tinker Federal Contract Food Sanitation and Safety training at agency expense.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, label, store, and rotate food items according to recipes and safety standards.
• Serve customers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, utensils, service areas, and dining spaces.
• Monitor and restock food, supplies, and inventory as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, cleaning schedules, and procedures.
• Report equipment issues and customer concerns to supervisors.
• Set up, operate, and maintain clipper and ware washing equipment.
• Wash, sanitize, dry, and store dishes, trays, utensils, and cookware.
