Job summary

Haven of Ridgeview in Oblong, IL is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team on a part-time AM/PM schedule. You will help provide residents with enjoyable meals while maintaining a clean, safe dining environment.

Responsibilities include serving meals promptly, presenting food attractively, setting up dining areas, assisting with dishwashing and sanitation, and following food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Food service or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and follows dietary guidelines.
• Set up trays, carts, and dining areas.
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen sanitation.
• Prepare and distribute snacks.
• Follow portion control, food safety, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and guests.
