Job summary

Pacers Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Digital Content Intern for Spring 2027 in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports content ideation, social channels, game coverage, websites and apps, copywriting, graphics, practice interviews, photo galleries and video highlights.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a college program (junior/senior/graduate) with WordPress and Adobe Photoshop or Premiere familiarity, and able to work 2–3 days in office weekly plus evening/weekend game coverage.

Qualifications

Pursuing college program as a junior, senior or grad student.
Familiarity with WordPress is required.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Premiere is a plus.
Maintain professional, journalistic relationships with players and coaches.
Able to work two to three days in office per week, plus games in evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist with coverage during Pacers, Fever & Boom games, including nights and weekends.
Copywriting of social captions.
Curate photo galleries and highlights for team website and distribution among players.
Shoot and edit video interviews and highlights from practices and games.
Shoot social-style video with smartphones or cameras.
Assist in covering practice and postgame media availabilities.
Transcribe press conference quotes for web and social content.
