Job summary

DiningRD is seeking a Registered Dietitian to perform on-site visits in a hospital/long-term care setting. The role focuses on maintaining high nutritional standards for residents, coordinating with the clinical team and dining staff, and providing nutrition education.

Expect a flexible schedule, ongoing education, and opportunities for mentorship within a nationwide RD network. Ideal candidates have CDR credentials, state licensure if required, and at least 2 years of consulting experience in

• CDR credentials required
• State license if required by State (Registered Dietitian)
• 2 years consulting experience preferred; long-term care experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' nutritional needs and ensure meals meet high nutritional standards.
• Provide nutrition education and contribute to MDS work with the clinical team.
• Formulate nutrition assessments with input from dining managers.
• Offer guidance on dining services, meal rounds, and sanitation best practices.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; support policy development.
• Train and mentor dining managers and staff on nutrition care principles.
