Job summary

Eastgatespring of Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Dietary Supervisor to assist the Chef in supervising the dietary department within a skilled nursing facility. You will help plan, organize and direct food service activities to provide nutritious meals and maintain safety standards.

Strong communication with the dietitian and staff is essential. Responsibilities include staff training, menu input, meal rounds, inventory, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Desire to grow in the organization.
• Minimally needs to be a High School Graduate.
• Works well with others and communicates with chefs, dietitians, and other staff to ensure teamwork and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Chef and assists in managing food service operations.
• Assists in orientation, training and supervision of dietary staff.
• Provides input in menu planning and development; conducts PI audits as assigned.
• Supervises dietary equipment use and cleanliness; performs meal rounds for residents.
• Participates in staff performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
