Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Dietary Staff member to join our compassionate dietary team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. This part-time role supports residents with meals and upholds safety and sanitation standards.

You’ll perform table service, assist with setup and clearing, deliver trays, and maintain a clean, sanitary work area while providing friendly, respectful service to residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in Food, Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets.
• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting a plus!
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all duties related to food table service including serving hot and cold food portions to residents
• Complete the set up and clearing of tables, as well as transporting food carts
• Bring trays to rooms while delivering exceptional customer service
• Cleaning duties while maintaining safe and sanitary work areas
