Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking Dietary Staff to join our compassionate food service team across Iowa’s skilled nursing communities. You’ll serve hot and cold meals, assist with setting up and clearing tables, transport carts, and deliver trays to rooms with friendly, high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in Food Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets.
• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all duties related to food table service including serving hot and cold food portions to residents
• Complete the set up and clearing of tables, as well as transporting food carts
• Bring trays to rooms while delivering exceptional customer service
• Cleaning duties while maintaining safe and sanitary work areas
