Job summary

Arma Health and Rehab in Arma, KS is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our caring team. You will assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, following dietary guidelines and special diet orders while delivering excellent customer service.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail, with flexible shifts 1p-7p and rotating weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents.
• Deliver and retrieve trays and ensure meals follow dietary guidelines.
• Ensure quality and temperature of food and maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, equipment and utensils.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and company policies; build relationships with residents and families.
