Job summary

Elmore Assisted Living in Elmore, MN is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to provide personal, compassionate dining services to residents during daytime hours. You will help create a welcoming mealtime experience and support the culinary team.

Typical hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with weekend rotation. No midnight shifts or revolving door of customers, and you’ll build relationships with residents while delivering great service.

Qualifications

• Dependable and takes their schedule seriously.
• Friendly, patient, and respectful with older adults.
• Comfortable staying active and on their feet throughout a shift.
• Able to work efficiently during busy meal periods.
• Willing to jump in and help the team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Serving meals and beverages to residents.
• Assisting with basic food preparation, portioning, and meal setup.
• Following resident-specific dietary instructions and meal requirements.
• Clearing tables and helping with dishes after service.
• Restocking beverages, utensils, food items, and supplies.
• Keeping kitchen, dining, preparation, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Following proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Communicating with cooks, caregivers, dietary staff, and community leadership.
• Helping ensure residents receive the right meal, the right way, every time.
