The Cypress of Hilton Head is seeking a hospitality-focused Dietary Aide to join our dedicated team. The role includes transporting food from the main kitchen, serving residents, and supporting a fast-paced, caring environment for seniors.

Educationally, a High School diploma is preferred; English literacy and basic math are required. The position is part-time (24–30 hours) with Tuesday, Wednesday, and alternating weekends, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma preferred; must read, write, speak English, and perform simple math calculations.

Aufgaben

• Update the daily diet and supplement report with new orders.
• Attend dietary meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain and complete a selective menu for all residents.
• Assist/read to residents requiring assistance to select menu items and substitutions.
• Complete all side duties as assigned.
• Inform residents of any menu changes and substitutions.
• Ensure the accuracy of trays prior to delivery to residents' rooms.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely per established policies.
• Report any suspected violations of The Cypress Code of Conduct and follow safety guidelines.
• Participate in safety programs and adhere to Cypress policies.
• Look for ways to improve safety for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation per DHEC Rules & Regulations.
