Job summary

Avir Trilogy in Victoria is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support our nursing team and deliver high-quality meals to patients. You will help prepare, serve, and ensure accurate tray setup while maintaining a clean and efficient food service area.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safe food handling. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0 years of experience in healthcare or food service preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to patients, including tray setup and delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized food service area.
• Assist with food preparation, including washing and peeling vegetables, and cooking meats and soups.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that patients receive the nutrition they need.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times.
