Job summary

Symphony Linden in Michigan is seeking a reliable Dietary Aide to support our skilled nursing facility's daily dining operations. You will help ensure residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, welcoming dining environment.

This part-time role requires weekend availability, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and a strong focus on customer service. We offer daily pay, health and dental insurance, short- and long-term disability, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
• Dietary Aide must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Hold your Food Handlers certificate

Responsibilities

• Dietary Aides serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
