Job summary

Cumberland Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation in Kentucky is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support our dietary team on day and evening shifts. You will assist cooks, prepare meals, and help ensure dietary needs are met for residents.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality of service in a residential setting. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; RN student loan assistance and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook in implementing diet plans and ensure meals align with prescribed menus.
• Recognize dietary emergencies and document observations and outcomes.
• Complete forms and reports to monitor equipment and supplies.
• Help develop methods to measure quality and quantity of food served.
• Meet with Dietary Supervisor to identify problem areas and improve services.
• Assist in food preparation and portion control for therapeutic diets.
• Inspect diet trays for accuracy, presentation, and safety.
• Operate the dishwasher and keep kitchen area clean.
• Report disrepair of dietary equipment or supplies.
