Job summary

Auburn Village in Auburn, Indiana is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our food service team. Hours are 2:00p-9:00p, with a flexible schedule including some mornings and weekend hours as needed. Starting rate is $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak and understand English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks.
• Compassion and tolerance for the elderly population.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and service of beverages, vegetables and salads as assigned.
• Coordinate daily dietary services with nursing staff.
• Ensure work areas are clean and free of hazards.
• Maintain care and use of supplies and equipment.
• Be presentable with residents, families and staff.
