Job summary

CURA of Sauk Centre is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support our kitchen team in preparing meals and assisting with production. This part-time role offers flexible evening hours and ideal entry-level opportunities, with starting pay at $19/hour.

You will help organize food items, read diets, serve meals, and keep prep areas clean, following safety guidelines. Evening and weekend shifts are required on a rotating schedule. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team setting.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen tasks.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of ingredients following established recipes and standards.
• Wash, peel, chop, and portion fruits, vegetables, and other food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
• Stock and organize food supplies under the guidance of the Cook or Dietary Manager.
• Support kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and consistent quality.
