Job summary

Hanford Post Acute in Hanford, CA is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide for a part-time role on-site. You will assist with food service, meals, and kitchen cleanliness, supporting resident satisfaction in a skilled nursing environment.

Pay ranges from $17.48 to $17.50 per hour, with a part-time/on-call schedule and opportunities to grow within healthcare. The role reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor, with duties including tray setup, serving meals, dishwashing, and sanitation maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow the food service routine.
• Set up meal trays accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with serving meals to residents.
• Strip returned trays and wash dishes.
• Operate the dishwasher and monitor cycles.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks as directed.
• Keep kitchen areas swept, mopped, and sanitary.
• Leave the kitchen clean and organized at end of shift.
• Support the Cook or Dietary Supervisor and participate in training.
