Job summary

Certus Healthcare Management is seeking a part-time Food and Nutrition Aide for the afternoon shift to provide meals to residents, guests, and staff under sanitary conditions and in accordance with dietary policies.

You will assist with tray assembly, serving, sanitation, and orderly kitchen tasks, report hazards, and participate in training sessions to maintain quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as waitress or food service worker is desirable.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions with basic calculations.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation, safety and attractive food presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve salads and desserts using standard recipes.
• Set up trays quickly and accurately according to posted menu.
• Place foods and utensils on trays for residents.
• Follow modified diets and standardized preparation methods.
• Deliver trays to resident areas and assist with distribution.
• Clean work areas and equipment; wash dishes as required.
• Maintain hygiene and uniform standards; report hazards.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training courses.
