Qualifications

• Associates/technical degree in diesel systems tech with automotive coursework.
• 2–5 years in repairing gasoline and diesel equipment.
• High school diploma with mechanical/electrical coursework and 7–10 years experience.
• Must obtain NC commercial Class B license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service cars, light and heavy equipment and small engines.
• Repair brakes, ignition, fuel, hydraulic, differentials, and axles.
• Operate lifts, tire changers, air tools, and other hand tools.
• Fabricate replacement parts for body repairs and assemblies.
• Perform electrical work including wiring, batteries, and lights.
• Maintain tools and garage area and follow safety protocols.
