Job summary

CVP is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA. This part-time role supports imaging services and patient care for Veterans.

The successful candidate will perform general radiography, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and OR imaging, while ensuring radiation safety, image quality, and accurate records. US citizenship and a public trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and board-certified in radiology (ABR).
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any US state or territory and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, portable radiography and OR imaging.
• Prepare and administer contrast materials under radiologist direction.
• Ensure image quality and radiation safety with documentation in EMR/PACS.
• Read and report on general diagnostic modalities, including basic neuro-imaging.
• Register, schedule, and manage imaging exams in VA systems.
• Provide clinical consultation to referring providers regarding imaging results.
