Job summary

McKenzie Health System in Sandusky, MI is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer RDMS (ABD/ Pelvis), OB, Breast. The role is part-time (24 hours/week) with on-call expectations and weekend coverage.

You will perform ultrasound imaging across pediatric to geriatric patients and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure diagnostic quality. Qualified candidates must hold ARDMS and RVT certifications, with Echocardiography certification within one year and BLS within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Registered in vascular sonographer (RVT)
• Registered Echocardiographer within 1 year of hire
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire
• Able to obtain quality ultrasound images per standards
• Able to communicate in English (speech, writing, reading)

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures under supervision with independent judgment
• Interact with hospital staff, providers, and patients
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations
• Maintain performance skills and equipment handling
