Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Developmental Specialist to support individuals with developmental disabilities in our Day Services program in Dudley, MA. This part-time position focuses on implementing Day Habilitation Service Plan objectives and documenting progress, with an hourly rate of $19 and paid training provided by Venture.

Weekend and holidays off are offered, with a $500 sign-on bonus for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or G.E.D. required.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license.
• At least two years of experience in a training program for the developmentally disabled.

Responsibilities

• Implement Day Habilitation Service Plan objectives.
• Document progress in daily logs and quarterly notes.
• Ensure health, safety and general well-being of individuals.
• Assist with daily activities including grooming, hygiene, and mobility.
• Collaborate with staff, families and community partners.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
