Job summary

Venture Community Services in Dudley, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This part-time role (16 hours) includes Sundays and Saturdays 7am–3pm, with a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour and paid training provided by Venture.

New hire bonus offers $1,000 for full-time and $500 for part-time positions. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, earned paid time off, sick time, life insurance, and tuition

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with disabilities to be active in life.
• Assist with daily living tasks: household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing.
• Support medical appointments, banking, community participation, outings, and follow plans.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and medical guidelines.
• Safely evacuate individuals during emergencies and maintain required certifications.
