Job summary

Portland Community College is seeking individuals to join a Part-Time Faculty interest pool for Developmental Education across its Portland campuses. Applications are reviewed as needs arise for substitute and full-term assignments within the Developmental Education program.

Qualified applicants hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related fields and have relevant teaching experience with underprepared students. PCC offers benefits and a pathway for part-time compensation and advancement.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in an education-related field as specified.
• Three years of full-time teaching experience in reading, writing, or English within grade 9 through adult (DE English) OR in mathematics within grade 6 through adult (DE Math).
• Official transcripts may be required within two weeks of offer date for degrees required in the stated Instructor Qualifications.
