Job summary

Christie Clinic's Dermatology department is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (32 hours/week) to work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm at the University Clinic, with the ability to cover Danville, Mahomet, Monticello, Tuscola, and Urbana clinics as needed, and with no night or weekend requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, updating the EMR with visit details, lab entries, and assisting providers during procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• CMA/CNA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments prior to appointment.
• Restock rooms and clean after appointments.
• Maintain and update patient records in the EMR.
• Enter allergies, medications and visit information into EMR.
• Assist providers with procedures and exams as needed.
• Educate patients on medications and wound care.
