Harris County Sheriff's Office in Houston is seeking a part-time, temporary deputy to support the SMAG unit at the Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston facility. The role focuses on security monitoring, data collection from video feeds, and intelligence dissemination, with supervision by the SMAG Sergeant.
Candidates must be honorably retired Peace Officers, have at least 15 years in law enforcement, hold a TCOLE Peace Officer License, and be able to obtain a secret clearance.

The deputy will be part of a specialized unit responsible for monitoring and maintaining security on land and waterside areas of the Houston Ship Channel Security District under the general supervision of the HCSO SMAG Sergeant. The assignment will be inside the United States Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston building, located at 13411 Hillard St., Houston, Texas 77034
