Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our team and deliver the full clinical patient experience from exam through treatment planning. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist role offers 2–3 days per week with shifts 8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM and a compensation plan that may include a daily guarantee or a 36% collections share.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
