Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a part-time General Dentist to join our team in the tradition of dentistry built by dentists for dentists. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Schedule is 2–3 days per week (8 AM–5 PM or 10 AM–7 PM) with either a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism and stay current with continuing education.
