Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our team in a schedule of 2-3 days per week. You will oversee the full patient experience from exam through treatment, with in-office access to periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies and best practices.
