Job summary

42 North Dental in Stockertown, PA seeks a part-time Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Flexible Saturdays and a strong patient flow support your schedule. Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, creating treatment plans, reviewing options with patients, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Active state dental license required to practice.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof provided.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethical professional conduct.
• Keep up-to-date with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
