Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will oversee the full clinical patient experience, from the initial exam and treatment planning to the delivery of care, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will join a collaborative team and maintain high standards of care, ethics, and ongoing professional development. The schedule includes two Saturdays per month, 7 AM–12 PM, with a daily rate of 750–900 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license in good standing.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism and keep up with developments.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Vaccination: Hepatitis B

Malpractice insurance

BLS/CPR certification
