Job summary

42 North Dental, a dentist-led practice in the United States, seeks a Part-Time Dentist to join our established team. You will oversee the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties like periodontics and endodontics.

Expect a steady patient flow and opportunities to pursue continuing education. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, flexible scheduling (two Saturdays per month), and a competitive daily rate of $750–$900 USD.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Must hold a current state dental license.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Malpractice insurance coverage must be shown.
• BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Education
